Implant Placement - "Under the Muscle"
Under the Muscle" or Subpectoral – also called as “submuscular,” or "retropectoral" whereby implant is place below the
pectoralis major Breast implant incision under the muscle can be either "partially under" or "completely under" the pectoralis major muscle. Pros:
This type of incision is not suitable for cases of lifting sagging breasts because implant is only partially covered by the muscle, the weight of the fluid is not supported.
